Yes! For Sports promotions, you must opt in before placing your qualifying bet. If you place your bet first and opt in afterwards, that bet will not count towards the promotion.

Please note: clicking a link in an email or text about a promotion does not opt you in automatically. You'll need to go to the offer page and make your selection to be opted in, before placing your qualifying bet.

Your qualifying bet needs to settle before the promotional period ends in order to count. If your bet is still pending (for example, waiting on a match result) when the promotion closes, it will not qualify, even if you placed it in time.

We'd always recommend placing your qualifying bet as early as possible during the promotional period, to give it the best chance of settling before the offer ends.
